At APBC we seek to accomplish our mission through three major avenues. Our desire is for the members of APBC to be engaged in all three areas.
We believe the central theme of Scripture is the glory of God. The thread woven all throughout Scripture that holds this theme together is God's purposeful pursuit of man to redeem him through the Gospel of Jesus, which is fully revealed in the Bible. Therefore, we desire that every member be engaged in the study of God's Word in both large and small group settings.
We believe the Gospel of Jesus brings people into Christian community. The New Testament consistently portrays this community of faith as expressed within the context of a local church. It is within this context that we are committed to biblical teaching, Christian fellowship, God-exulting worship, grace driven service, and Gospel-centered evangelism.
We believe the Gospel message is for all peoples. We use the word "peoples" intentionally. Globally, there are over 16,000 people groups. We are commanded by Jesus to go and make disciples of these ethno-linguistic people groups, or "peoples" of the world. Therefore, we long to see the peoples of the world embrace a passion for God's glory through the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are committed to the Great Commission both locally and globally.
